Make a vision board

The first month of the year is almost gone. Time flies. A year theme is a good solution to focus on. But there is more that you can do to work on your dreams. Make a vision board!

Influential leaders like Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra turned their dreams into reality. They use a combination of manifestation with hard work. It’s all about the law of attraction. This is the ability to attract into our lives whatever we are focusing on. It uses the power of the mind to translate our thoughts and feelings and make them real. You have to start with setting an intention, believe it will become real and take active steps towards your dream.

To manifest your dreams a vision board is a helpful tool. A vision board is a white big piece of paper where you add all your wishes. It is a visual representation of your goals and dreams. There are no rules to make a vision board. Just be creative and let it flow! If you use a white paper, you can draw on it, write goals or words and stick images and photos from newspapers or magazines. If you want to make it digital it is also possible. The result will be an inspiration to realize your dreams and goals.

Take first some time to reflect on yourself. What is important to you? What do you want to change in your life? You can choose between a long-term board or a short-term board. For example, you can choose to make a vision board for the coming year. Choose for short words and images that inspire you and give you a positive feeling that you can feel it in your heart. The board is the result of your inner thoughts.

When you are finished with making a vision board, make sure you see it as often as possible. So hang it at the place in your home where you can see it often. If you make a digital vision board, use it for example as the background of your computer screen.

Your vision board is a ‘living’ board. Feel free to make changes and adjust it whenever you want. Give it time. It is like planting seeds; it needs time to grow. Trust in yourself and the universe.

Have fun making a vision board! You are always welcome to share the result with me.
